The client, Jolie's Club, required a distinctive interior design for their new exclusive private event space and cocktail lounge. The brief demanded a sophisticated, intimate, and highly experiential atmosphere, blending Art Deco glamour with modern luxury. The design needed to maximize seating capacity while ensuring a clear flow of movement and incorporating bespoke lighting solutions to transition seamlessly from a dinner lounge to a late-night venue.
The design rationale focused on creating a layered, sensory experience. We utilized a rich material palette including deep velvet upholstery, polished brass accents, dark wood paneling, and marble surfaces to achieve a sense of timeless opulence. Custom, low-level atmospheric lighting (e.g., backlit bars and perimeter cove lighting) was key to creating intimacy and drama. The strategic placement of modular seating and a prominent central bar ensures both intimate conversation areas and efficient service, successfully delivering the client's vision of an exclusive, high-end destination.
