The challenge was to design the key promotional poster for the annual "Nuit Blanche" (White Night) art festival, an all-night celebration of contemporary art in the city. The brief required a design that captured the energy, late-night atmosphere, and experimental nature of the event. The poster needed to be striking enough to draw attention in high-traffic urban areas while clearly communicating the core festival details (date, location, theme).

The final design utilized a stark contrast of neon blues and deep blacks (as suggested by the previous mock image) to immediately evoke the feeling of a vibrant, electrified city at night. We chose a geometric, architectural typeface to ground the design and symbolize the urban environment. The rationale for the visual language was to represent the art installations as glowing, mysterious elements emerging from the darkness, appealing directly to a young, culturally engaged audience seeking a unique nocturnal experience. The poster design was successfully adapted for large-format print billboards, transit ads, and social media promotion.
